Crossroad Store Out and Back (20 or 30, Casual Riders, MH)

August 14 @ 8:00 am

Everyone, I’m sorry for being late in posting this but I hope some of you will join me in taking advantage of this beautiful weather!
The ride described here is for 20 miles but it’s easy to add 5 or 10 to it by going towards Esmont or all the way to it. As of right now I would like to add 5 or 10 miles. This is a no drop ride, so we’ll make sure you ride with others and I guarantee I will be dead last.

Link to the ride:

Let’s park at the Crossroads store across from the fire station.

Please let us know in the comments below if you plan to come, and make sure there is no last minute change for some reason. I’m looking forward to it!

NOTE: As of 01/01/2022, we have become a member-supported club.  We encourage all of our cycling friends to join us.  For new riders, our club insurance covers non-members of the club for their first ride only.  Thanks.

We are planning additional rides each week, so stay tuned!  If you are interested in helping to organize a group ride for the Club, please contact us!

For details on how group rides are categorized, check out the Ride Classification guidelines.

Requirements For Riders

All riders are required to have a helmet; a tail light, Road ID and a rear-view mirror is strongly recommended.  You are also expected to have adequate fluids and a road-worthy bicycle in good repair.  Many rides, but not all, will include the opportunity to stop at a store to replenish supplies.

You should be prepared to fix a flat tire and perform other minor repairs on the road side.  If you are new to cycling and are not comfortable with these procedures, don’t let that stop you.  However, you might want to talk to a more experienced member before the ride so the group is prepared to help if necessary.

Safety On The Road

The club considers safety to be our very highest priority.  Please review the information on the Safety Page before you join us for a ride.

We hope that you will find this site helpful; your questions and comments are welcomed.
