11.03.2023AM forecast is calling for 44* temps and 13mph side winds with 25mph gusts (so between 34 and 37 with wind-chill). I think I’m going to stick with riding on the trainer this weekend. Hopefully the weather stays promising for next Sunday!

11.03.2023Will, not looking good this weekend! Peter

10.03.2023Had planned to do the Grit ride on Sunday but weather forecast is pretty bad. Anyone still planning to do this one tomorrow?
Connie Hendy
10.03.2023On second thought, with the temps and the winds, we won’t be doing this ride.

09.03.2023Doing last minute trip to ACC tournament so won’t make this one actually. Rain check.

08.03.2023I should have mentioned that we will probably do the 46 mile route.

07.03.2023Anybody planning on doing this one? I’m hoping to bike this Saturday but will stay closer to home if no one doing this one.
Connie Hendy
07.03.2023We are, Andrew, assuming the forecast doesn’t change.

Ride Classification
For details on how group rides are categorized, check out the Ride Classification guidelines.
Requirements For Riders
All riders are required to have a helmet; a taillight, Road ID and a rear-view mirror is strongly recommended. You are also expected to have adequate fluids and a road-worthy bicycle in good repair. Many rides, but not all, will include the opportunity to stop at a store to replenish supplies.
You should be prepared to fix a flat tire and perform other minor repairs on the roadside. If you are new to cycling and are not comfortable with these procedures, don’t let that stop you. However, you might want to talk to a more experienced member before the ride so the group is prepared to help if necessary.
Safety On The Road
The club considers safety to be our very highest priority. Please review the information on the Safety Page before you join us for a ride.
We hope that you will find this site helpful; your questions and comments are welcomed.
