Distance: 23 / 30 miles
Climbing: 70 / 70 feet per mile

Description: This is a fun, short, somewhat hilly ride around Free Union and Earlysville.

Stores: Mile 13 (Dyke)

Alerts: 1. There is a bridge in poor repair at the bottom of the descent at mile 9 just after the left turn onto Plunkett Road.

NOTE 1: Do not use the school parking lot before 4PM on weekdays during the school year.

NOTE 2: On the date of the annual Charlottesville Women’s 4-Miler (Saturday of Labor Day weekend), avoid Garth Road. From Charlottesville, take Hydraulic Rd to Earlysville Rd. At the reservoir, turn left on Woodlands Rd, then right on Free Union Rd to Free Union.
