May 6th & 7th 2022. The CapCenter Cap2Cap
The CapCenter Cap2Cap presented by Dominion Energy is back for its 17th year and will take place on Friday, May 6th, and Saturday, May 7th, 2022. Ride the Virginia Capital Trail and enjoy a Post-Ride Party at Chickahominy Riverfront Park in Williamsburg, VA on Friday or at Dorey Park on Saturday in Henrico, VA! Riders will be supported by four Rest Stops, and will receive a Cap2Cap t-shirt, water bottle, drawstring bag, lunch, beverage ticket, and more!

Tour de Chesapeake is a family-friendly cycling event located in Mathews County, on Virginia’s Middle Peninsula. The supported ride is all day on Saturday, but we hope you will make a weekend of it and see all Mathews has to offer. We have lined up a whole assortment of things for you to do on Friday, Saturday and Sunday too!

Beacon Credit Union and the YMCA invite YOU to join your friends and fellow cyclists in the breathtaking Blue Ridge Mountains of Central Virginia on Sunday, May 22rd for the 13th annual Storming of Thunder Ridge road ride. This well-supported cycling event offers camaraderie and challenge for every rider’s ability with a choice of 27, 45, 48, 75 and 100 mile routes as you ride at your own pace along safe and scenic well-marked country roads.

Incredible on-course support and full rest stops every ~25 miles
Lots of fun at a social, non-heroic pace. It is meant to be very much a ride, not a race.

August 6, 2022. The Mountain Mama Road Bike Challenge
The yearly event features 2 States, 3 Counties, 9 mountains, 105 miles, and over 10,000 feet of climb. The challenge features 5 courses of different ability levels, they include:
- Blue Grass Valley Ride: 27 miles of rolling valley hills
- Two State Short Ride: 53 miles and 4 mountains to climb
- Two State Long Ride: follow the century ride for 54 miles then add the Blue Grass Valley ride for a total of 67 miles with 4 mountains to climb
- Metric Century: a modified version of the Two State Long Ride that offers additional climb and unbeatable views
- Century: 2 States, 3 counties, 9 mountains, over 100 miles and over 10,000 feet to climb

Sept 3, 2022. The Tour de Valley
Departing from Constiution Park, Waynesboro, VA September 3, 2022 at 8:00 AM for the two fully supported rides. Tour the beautiful fall colors, mountains and waterways on this scenic valley ride. All safe practices will be in place on ride day. We will stage riders in groups of 10 or less every ten minutes and we will ask that you ride with safe distancing. Fully supported SAG rest areas will be provided, and Rockfish Gap Outfitters will have on sight mechanical services. Volunteers will be driving the course for your emergency or mechanical needs.

Sept. 4, 2022. Cal Tri Charlottesville (Women’s Race).
Women & young women ages 7+ are invited to race at Fry’s Spring Beach Club in Charlottesville on Labor Day Weekend.
7 EVENT OPTIONS. 7 Sprint distance events (Triathlon, Triathlon Relay, RunBikeRun, SwimBike, SwimRun, 400 yard Swim & 5K Run). Triathlon = swim + bike + run. Triathlon Relay is 2 or 3 athletes combined to complete the triathlon. Typically, the swim and run distances are standard but the bike distance varies from race to race. Check out the course maps for more detailed information.

Sept. 24, 2022. Cannonball Century
In partnership with the Ron Rosner YMCA, join us again this year for the 2022 Cannonball Century, to be held on Saturday, September 24th. A portion of the proceeds from every registration will assist the American Cancer Society.

Oct 8, 2022. The Tour de Greene
The 16th Annual Tour de Greene! Tour de Greene is a fully supported ride through the beautiful back roads in and around Greene County Virginia, located at the foot of the Shenandoah National Park. Choose from one of four ride options: a 40 or 62 mile road ride (Metric Century) OR a 37 or 57 mile gravel ride. Entry of $35 includes great rest stops & lunch following the ride!

Oct 14-16, 2022. Fall Foliage Bike Festival
The 2022 Fall Foliage Bike Festival is back on our traditional 3rd weekend in October, and we look forward to seeing you in Staunton, Virginia!
Our 2022 Festival features brand new routes on both days!
In fact, the only repeated route is Sunday’s Family Ride — every other Saturday and Sunday route is totally NEW!

May 13, 2023. Ride to Defeat ALS
The 2023 ride will again be held in Crozet at Pro Re Nata Brewery. Check back for more information and a link to the ride website.
