Distance: 30 / 41 miles
Climbing: 75 / 75 feet per mile

​Description: A scenic, moderately hilly tour of western Albemarle County, this ride makes a large clockwise loop from Free Union to White Hall to Boonesville and Nortonsville, then another loop toward Bacon Hollow and back to Dyke before returning to Free Union.  The short route skips the short loop toward Bacon Hollow.

NOTE 1: Do not use the school parking lot before 4PM on weekdays during the school year.

NOTE 2: On the date of the annual Charlottesville Women’s 4-Miler (Saturday of Labor Day weekend), avoid Garth Road. From Charlottesville, take Hydraulic Rd to Earlysville Rd. At the reservoir, turn left on Woodlands Rd, then right on Free Union Rd to Free Union.
